lately

i have been having these moments
where everything seems infused
with intensity
even things like
wiping the dirt from my center console
where my son stepped when he got into the car
or being stopped
while driving from Connecticut
for cows to cross the road
seems to be telling me something deeper about life
but then again
that was probably
just
the music
